The shuttle has three pretend rocket engines around back, a stabilizer wing up top, and three dual-wheel rubber tired landing gear underneath. This satellite can be unfolded and 'deployed' with the arm. The whole middle of the shuttle opens up to reveal a spare 'air tank' for space walks, an articulated boom arm and a satellite with what appears to be make believe solar panels and communications dish. The shuttle has a place in the nose for an astronaut pilot with a control terminal. The set builds a Space Shuttle with white and black color scheme, just like the now retired 'real thing.' The top of the transport plane has two mounting pylons for the shuttle.
LEGO SHUTTLE TRANSPORT WINDOWS
There are windows in front and alongside the aircraft, along with landing gear with rubber tires underneath. There is a pretend radar/computer and flight controls terminals for the pilot. There are two storage cubbies for tools along the side of the plane.Īdditionally, the transport plane has two opening roof sections to enable placement of minifigure(s) and cargo inside. There are four pretend engines underneath the wings, two per side.

The aircraft has a red, white and blue color scheme, with gray wings and roof. The set builds a transport aircraft that carries the Space Shuttle around between missions. The LEGO Shuttle Transcon 2 is a Launch Command space exploration themed set from 1995.
